Another dyno day to test Stainless Works headers and exhaust system. This time in a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria.
We ran the car first with the following mods:
SCT Custom Tune
Marauder Airbox and MAF
Steeda Pulleys
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
Milage: 220,000km
Our base numbers were: Max Power 203.7 hp and Max Torque 237.95 ft-lb
Then we added:Stainless Works off-road long tube headersSW X-PipeSW Cat-BackStainless Works HeadersStainless Works Cat-Back
After some tuning we ended up with: max power 222.56 hp and 269.38 ft-lb
Power improvement of 18.86 hp and 31.43 ft-lb

the stainless works kit for the crown Victoria is a nice kit im not arguing that, but how can one justify $2000 for an 18 hp gain. seems just a tad excessive.
